Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Manager – Term Insurance to manage and drive sales operations across Bangalore.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Term Insurance/Life Insurance sales, team management, business development, and achieving sales targets. The candidate will be responsible for leading the sales team, expanding the business, and ensuring consistent revenue growth across the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the sales team to achieve business and revenue targets.
• Drive sales of Term Insurance products across the assigned territory.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual targets.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop sales team members.
• Monitor team performance and ensure achievement of individual and team KPIs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence in Bangalore.
• Track sales performance, analyse market trends, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, sales processes, and regulatory guidelines.
• Prepare and present regular business performance reports to senior management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Insurance Sales.
• Strong experience in Term Insurance / Life Insurance sales.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in team handling and sales management.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage field sales teams and drive business performance.
• Strong understanding of the Bangalore insurance market.
• Customer acquisition and business development expertise.
