POSITION SUMMARY\n
\nThe Assistant Manager will work as an independent contributor, owning end-to-end Competitive Intelligence delivery for US-based clients. The role requires working predominantly in EST-aligned hours to support ongoing delivery, client calls, ad-hoc requests, and conference coverage during the US business day.The individual will liaise directly with clients, manage delivery expectations, and develop client-ready insights and recommendations.\n
\nROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n
\nIndependently manage CI delivery across competitor monitoring, landscape assessments, conference coverage, and ad-hoc requestsWork in EST-aligned hours to support US client delivery and time-sensitive requestsLiaise directly with clients and independently participate in or lead client callsSupport conference coverage, including pre-conference planning, live/in-conference reporting, and post-conference analysisTranslate client requirements into clear KITs/KIQs and aligned deliverablesDevelop client-ready reports, presentations, alerts, and competitive landscapesSynthesize information into insights, implications, and recommendationsLeverage relevant databases, research sources, and AI-enabled toolsQuality-check outputs for accuracy, relevance, and client readinessManage multiple priorities and timelines independentlySupport onboarding and coaching of junior team members as required\n
\nREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS\n
\n5+ years of pharmaceutical/life sciences Competitive Intelligence experienceWillingness to work predominantly in EST-aligned hoursOncology experience is a MUSTStrong experience managing CI deliverables independently and interacting directly with clientsExperience in competitor monitoring, conference intelligence, and landscape assessmentsStrong understanding of pharmaceutical clinical and commercial dynamicsStrong analytical, synthesis, and insight-generation skillsProficiency with pharmaceutical databases covering clinical, commercial, regulatory data and scientific literatureAbility to use AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and deliverable qualityStrong QC, prioritization, and communication skillsExcellent written and verbal English
