Role Description The Autocad Drafter will work in the Head Office in BKC, Mumbai in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and project managers. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and revising detailed technical drawings in AutoCAD, including plans, sections, elevations, and layouts for premium residential projects. The role involves converting conceptual designs into accurate architectural drawings, producing shop drawings for construction, and ensuring all documentation meets project specifications and local regulations. The drafter will coordinate with the design team to clarify requirements, maintain organized drawing files, and support project workflows from initial design through execution.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Technical Drawing and Drawing for architectural and construction purposes.
- Ability to prepare accurate Shop Drawings for structural, architectural, and interior elements.
- Experience creating and interpreting Architectural Drawings for residential or commercial projects.
- Understanding of Architecture principles and building design fundamentals.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of other CAD or BIM software (e.g., Revit) is an advantage.
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- Attention to detail, ability to work to deadlines, and strong organization and documentation skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams on-site.
