Are you a passionate backend engineering leader who loves architecting scalable systems while staying hands-on with coding?
We are looking for a Technical Lead - Backend Systems with 10+ years of experience to drive backend architecture, system design, and technical decision-making for large-scale distributed applications.
What You‘ll Do
✅ Design and build highly scalable, resilient, and maintainable backend systems
✅ Define architecture standards, service boundaries, and integration patterns
✅ Lead the development of high-performance backend services using Python & FastAPI
✅ Architect distributed systems, microservices, event-driven platforms, and modular applications
✅ Optimize database design across PostgreSQL/MySQL and NoSQL technologies
✅ Drive technical discussions, mentor engineers, and establish engineering best practices
✅ Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders
Key Skills & Experience
✔️ 10+ years of backend/software engineering experience
✔️ 3+ years of hands-on FastAPI development in production environments
✔️ Expert-level Python programming skills
✔️ Strong experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL and NoSQL databases
✔️ Deep understanding of:
- Distributed Systems
- Microservices & Event-driven Architecture
- SOLID Principles & Design Patterns
- System Design & Scalability
✔️ Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker, CI/CD, and Kubernetes
✔️ Proven track record of leading architecture decisions and technical teams
⭐ Nice to Have
• Monolith to Microservices migration experience
• Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, or similar messaging systems
• OAuth2, JWT, API Gateways & Rate Limiting
• Prior experience as a Tech Lead, Senior Backend Engineer, or Solution Architect
