BIM Modeler MEP

Key Responsibilities

• 3D Modeling & Design: Create, update, and maintain detailed 3D MEP models using Revit, focusing on accuracy.
• Clash Detection & Coordination: Identify and resolve interferences between MEP systems and structural/architectural components using Navisworks.
• Documentation: Generate 2D construction documents, shop drawings, riser diagrams, and fabrication drawings from 3D models.
• Standards Compliance: Maintain Project BIM standards, modeling protocols, and Level of Detail (LOD) requirements.
• Scan-to-BIM: Convert point cloud data/laser scans into accurate Revit models.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of Revit MEP, Navisworks Manage, and AutoCAD.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and electrical system design.
• Experience: Typically 2–5 years in MEP modeling within the construction or engineering industry.
• Collaboration: Ability to work with project teams and communicate effectively.
