Position – Admission/Career Counsellor
\nLevel- Sr. Executive/ Assistant Manager
\nReports to – Admissions Manager
\nLocation - Saket, New Delhi (Near Saket Metro Station)
\nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Understand the academic interests, career aspirations, and requirements of prospective students and provide personalised counselling to students and parents. \n
- Conduct detailed profile assessments and recommend suitable programmes based on the student's academic background, interests, aptitude, career aspirations, and eligibility. \n
- Provide counselling and subject-matter guidance on programmes offered by the School of Law (SOL) and School of Liberal Studies (SOLS). \n
- Prior experience in counselling students for Law and/or Liberal Studies programmes will be strongly preferred. \n
- Generate and nurture leads through database calling, cold calling, digital enquiries, referrals, and other student outreach initiatives. \n
- Counsel prospective students on programme structure, eligibility, career opportunities, admission process, fees, campus facilities, and other relevant aspects of the university. \n
- Drive the conversion of leads into applications and admissions through effective counselling, engagement, and consistent follow-ups. \n
- Manage the complete lead funnel, from initial enquiry and counselling through application, interview, offer, and final conversion. \n
- Coordinate with prospective students for interviews, assessments, documentation, and other admission-related processes. \n
- Respond to queries from students and parents and ensure timely and accurate communication throughout the admission journey. \n
- Engage with prospective students and parents and facilitate campus visits/tours to enhance their understanding of the university and programmes. \n
- Assist prospective students with completing admission applications and ensure a smooth and seamless application experience. \n
- Conduct regular telephonic and digital follow-ups with prospective students and parents to nurture prospects and achieve conversion targets. \n
- Maintain and regularly update lead, application, follow-up, and conversion data in the relevant systems/trackers. \n
- Work closely with internal stakeholders including academic teams, admissions, marketing, and other university functions to ensure effective student engagement and conversion. \n
- Achieve defined lead generation, application, conversion, and enrolment targets. \n
- Work independently with minimal supervision while demonstrating strong ownership, accountability, and follow-through. \n
Role Requirements:

- Minimum of 2-8 years of professional experience education counselling. \n
- Strong networking and counselling skills \n
- Ability to remember course information, scholarships, accommodation and other relevant information required to execute this role swiftly. \n
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with students, colleagues and team representing diverse ethnic and cultural background. \n
CTC Offered: 4–7 LPA, depending on the candidate’s relevant experience, current/last drawn compensation, and overall fit for the role.
