Data Modeler

Contract Data Modeler (INDIA) – Fully Remote – 6 Months

We’re looking for a senior Data Modeler to join a fast-moving data team on a 6-month contract. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong modelling fundamentals with a real understanding of business metrics, not just building dashboards, but shaping the data behind them.

What you’ll do

• Design and develop dimensional data models to support analytics and reporting
• Work within a Medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers)
• Translate business requirements into scalable data structures
• Define and validate business metrics with stakeholders
• Support dashboarding and analytics use cases (while staying focused on the underlying data logic)
• Collaborate with engineers and analysts to ensure data accuracy and usability

What we’re looking for

• Senior-level experience in data modelling for analytics platforms
• Strong understanding of dimensional modelling (star/snowflake schemas)
• Experience working with Medallion/Lakehouse architectures
• Ability to work closely with the business to define and structure KPIs
• Comfortable supporting BI/reporting, but not purely a dashboard developer
• Oracle ERP background highly preferred
