Job Description: We are looking for a hands-on leader to head our Data & Analytics practice. This role is not just about managing a team but building a strong, scalable practice that delivers real business value to our customers. You will own the end-to-end responsibility of the practice, from driving revenue and shaping solutions to mentoring teams and engaging with customers. Responsibilities:
Practice Leadership & Growth
* Own the P&L for the Data & Analytics practice
- Drive revenue growth, profitability, and overall practice expansion
- Identify new opportunities across existing and new customers
- Build and position differentiated offerings in enterprise data management
Customer & Delivery Ownership
- Act as the go-to person for key customers and strategic engagements
- Ensure quality delivery across projects and maintain customer satisfaction
- Engage with leadership team and senior stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions
- Be willing to travel to customer locations as required
Technical Thought Leadership
- Provide direction across modern data platforms (cloud data stacks, data engineering, analytics, AI/ML)
- Guide teams on architecture, solution design, and best practices
- Stay current with industry trends and bring relevant ideas into the organization
Pre-sales & Solutioning
- Lead pre-sales efforts including solutioning, proposals, and client presentations
- Partner closely with sales teams to convert opportunities into wins
- Contribute to RFPs, estimations, and commercial discussions
Team & People Leadership
- Lead and mentor a 100-member team across different skill sets
- Build strong second-line leadership within the team
- Drive performance management, capability development, and hiring
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning
Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, HR, Finance, IT, and Quality
- Provide regular updates and insights to leadership
- Align practice goals with overall company strategy
In short, Job Summary:
15 years of experience in Data & Analytics / Data Engineering / Enterprise Data Management
Proven experience in leading large teams and managing P&L
Strong understanding of cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and modern data architectures
Experience in working with enterprise customers and handling senior stakeholders
Strong business acumen with the ability to balance delivery, growth, and profitability
A “go-getter” mindset—someone who takes ownership and drives outcomes
Excellent communication and leadership skills
