Finishing Carpenter

Job Title: Finishing Carpenter

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality finishing carpentry work for residential, commercial, and construction projects.
  
• Install wooden doors, door frames, wardrobes, cabinets, panels, skirting, and other wooden fixtures.
  
• Perform cutting, fitting, assembling, and finishing of wooden materials.
  
• Take accurate measurements and ensure proper alignment and fitting.
  
• Carry out polishing, trimming, sanding, and other finishing activities as required.
  
• Read and understand basic drawings, measurements, and work instructions.
  
• Repair, modify, and maintain existing wooden structures and fittings.
  
• Operate carpentry tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
  
• Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades to complete work within project schedules.
  
• Maintain required quality standards and follow site safety procedures.
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience as a Finishing Carpenter.
  
• Experience in construction, interior, or fit-out projects preferred.
  
• Good knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and finishing techniques.
  
• Ability to take accurate measurements and understand basic drawings.
  
• Strong attention to detail and finishing quality.
  
• Physically fit and willing to work at construction/project sites.
  
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  
• Good knowledge of wooden doors, frames, wardrobes, cabinets, panels, skirting, and related fixtures.
