Reporting to : Head of Legal
Location: Mumbai.
Client Industry : Our client is a reputed real estate developer with a diversified portfolio of residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects and a strong track record of delivering landmark developments.
Our client is seeking an experienced legal professional to support strategic business transactions and corporate growth initiatives. The role will involve advising on mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic investments, project acquisitions, and partnerships. The incumbent will lead legal due diligence, structure transactions, negotiate and finalize definitive agreements, and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. The position will also work closely with business, finance, tax, and external advisors to facilitate smooth deal execution, risk mitigation, and post-transaction implementation.
Key Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in corporate and transactional law
- Strong expertise in deal structuring, due diligence, contract negotiation, and transaction documentation.
- Exposure to real estate transactions, project acquisitions, JVs, or development deals is preferred.
- Exposure to litigation, dispute management, or arbitration matters is desirable.
- Candidates from leading law firms or in-house legal teams with real estate experience are also encouraged to apply.
