L2/L3 Network Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced L2/L3 Network & Security Engineer to design, deploy, secure, and optimize high-availability enterprise network infrastructure across corporate offices, data centers, cloud environments, and manufacturing plant networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise routing, switching, wireless, LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN infrastructure.
• Administer and secure Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), IPsec VPNs, remote access VPNs, and NAC solutions.
• Implement network segmentation and isolation between IT and OT networks using firewalls, DMZs, and ACLs.
• Handle P0/P1 network escalations, complex troubleshooting, packet analysis, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Manage core network services including DNS, DHCP, RADIUS/TACACS+, and load balancers.
• Lead network upgrade and modernization projects and coordinate with ISPs, OEMs, and telecom vendors.
• Maintain network topology diagrams, DR frameworks, and technical SOPs.
• Mentor L1/L2 network engineering teams.

Technical Skills Required

• Strong expertise in BGP, OSPF, STP, HSRP/VRRP, VLANs, Link Aggregation, and SVL.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba, or equivalent networking technologies.
• Advanced experience with enterprise firewalls such as FortiGate, Palo Alto, or SonicWall.
• Hands-on experience with SD-WAN and cloud connectivity, including AWS/Azure, ExpressRoute, and VPNs.
• Experience with enterprise Wi-Fi site planning, heat mapping, and Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC).
• Strong troubleshooting and network security skills, including Wireshark/packet analysis.

Qualifications & Preferred Certifications

• Education: B.E./B.Tech/BCA/MCA/B.Sc. IT or any graduate.
• Preferred Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, or SonicWall certifications.
