Lead Technical Architect (MERN)

We are seeking a Lead Technical Architect with 12-20 years of experience to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable, cloud-native solutions.

Job Description Must-Have Skills Proven technical leadership experience as a

Lead Technical Architect

or

Principal Architect . Deep expertise in

TypeScript, React.js, Node.js, NestJS, MongoDB/Mongoose , and

Web Components/Micro-Frontend Architecture . Strong experience in

GraphQL Schema Design

and

GraphQL Federation , including

subgraph composition, schema governance, contract management, and versioning . Hands-on experience with

Event-Driven Architecture

using

Kafka, Schema Registry, and Avro , including

schema evolution and compatibility governance . Strong knowledge of

Identity & Access Management (IAM) , including

OAuth2, OIDC, Okta, Service Account Token Exchange, and ABAC . Working experience with

Python/FastAPI

in a

polyglot microservices environment . Experience integrating

AI capabilities into production systems , including

Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, AI Model Routing, Prompt Governance, Token Cost Optimization, and PII/Security Controls . Expertise in

Architecture Strategy, Governance, and Technical Decision-Making

within cross-functional organizations. Strong background in

Cloud-Native and Distributed Systems Architecture , including deployment readiness for

Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and GitHub Actions

environments. Demonstrated ownership of

Delivery, Reliability, Security, and Scalability

outcomes. Experience defining and implementing

Testing & Quality Engineering Practices

using

Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, and Pytest . Proven track record of establishing

Engineering Standards, Architecture Governance Frameworks, and Scalable Engineering Practices

across large and complex organizations.

Strongly Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills TOGAF Certification

or equivalent Enterprise Architecture framework experience. Advanced experience with

Kubernetes, Docker, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevSecOps

beyond application-level responsibilities. Experience leading

Legacy Modernization

and

Large-Scale Platform Re-Architecture

initiatives. Exposure to

Platform Engineering

or

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)

practices, including

SLOs, Observability, Monitoring, and Operational Resilience . Experience integrating with

Mediaocean Prisma

or similar

Media Buying, Advertising, or Financial Platforms . Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

or equivalent

AWS Solutions Architect Certification .
