Job Title: Mainframe Logical Security Consultant (ACF2/RACF)
Duration: 6+ Month Contract
Location : Hybrid- 2 Days Onsite in Bangalore

Mainframe Logical Security Consultant
with
6–8+ years of experience
in IBM Mainframe security administration, governance, and compliance. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on expertise with
CA ACF2 (mandatory)
and experience with
IBM RACF (preferred) . This role requires direct interaction with clients to assess, design, implement, and support mainframe security solutions while ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements. The consultant will play a key role in
security upgrades, migrations, audits, access control management, and security modernization initiatives
across enterprise mainframe environments. Key Responsibilities Administer, maintain, and support
CA ACF2 security environments
across IBM Mainframe platforms. Manage user provisioning, access controls, resource rules, and security policies. Support and maintain
RACF environments
where applicable. Perform security assessments and recommend improvements aligned with industry best practices. Plan and execute
ACF2 and RACF upgrades , migrations, and security enhancement projects. Review and implement role-based access controls (RBAC) and least-privilege security models. Conduct periodic security reviews, compliance audits, and access recertification activities. Analyze and resolve security-related incidents, violations, and access issues. Support regulatory and compliance requirements including SOX, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, and internal audit controls as applicable. Configure and maintain security controls for: o TSO o CICS o IMS o DB2 o Batch applications o Started Tasks o USS (Unix System Services) Perform security rule analysis and optimization to improve operational efficiency and reduce risk. Develop and maintain security documentation, standards, and operating procedures. Collaborate with infrastructure, systems programming, audit, compliance, and application teams. Participate in disaster recovery planning and security-related testing activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications Mandatory 6–8+ years of hands-on Mainframe Security experience. Strong understanding of: CA ACF2 (Must Have) Mainframe Logical Security Administration Access Management Security Policy Implementation Compliance and Audit Support IBM z/OS Security Architecture User and Resource Authorization Dataset Security Started Task Security CICS Security Batch and System Security User IDs Security Groups Access Rules Password Policies Privileged Access Controls Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
