About the Role: Senior MTS – Cloud Test

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Member of Technical Staff to join our Networking Quality Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end quality engineering initiatives for Aviatrix‘s edge gateway platform and advanced networking capabilities. You will work across a broad portfolio of technologies including edge gateway deployments in co-location and bare-metal environments, BGP routing and policy validation, high-availability architectures, hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity, and advanced networking topologies such as underlay VRF and edge-as-transit. This is a hands-on technical role requiring deep networking expertise, strong automation skills, excellent communication and collaboration, and the ability to work closely with development, product management, and customer-facing teams to deliver highly reliable cloud networking solutions.

Position Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for edge gateway platforms and networking features.
\n
• Validate feature quality for deployments across co-location and bare-metal environments.
\n
• Test routing protocols and networking functionalities including BGP, route propagation, gateway failover, and upgrade scenarios.
\n
• Validate networking architectures including hybrid cloud connectivity and multi-cloud networking scenarios.
\n
• Build and maintain automation scripts and regression suites integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
\n
• Set up and maintain test environments for feature validation and issue replication.
\n
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify quality risks and improve testability.
\n
• Reproduce and troubleshoot reported issues in lab environments.
\n
• Utilize AI-assisted tools for test generation, debugging, and productivity improvements.
\n
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across quality engineering and automation.
\n

Requirements

\n
• 1–2 years of experience in networking QA, cloud platform testing, or network engineering. (Freshers with strong networking fundamentals are encouraged to apply.)
\n
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals — TCP/IP, routing, switching, BGP, and VPN technologies.
\n
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
\n
• Proficiency in Python scripting and basic automation.
\n
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and modern development workflows.
\n
• Basic debugging skills using tools such as Wireshark or tcpdump.
\n
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
\n
• Good communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams.
