Role: Senior Operations Engineer – MES
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Operations Engineer – MES to manage and support MES operations for core microservices within the Foundations Team.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in MES production support, microservices, Kubernetes, monitoring, incident management, debugging, and troubleshooting, with the ability to handle high-priority production incidents in a global environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day MES Operations and Production Support activities for core microservices.
- Proactively monitor, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
- Handle High-Priority Incidents (HPI) and provide on-call support when required.
- Perform problem investigation and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) within defined SLAs.
- Configure and maintain monitoring dashboards and alerts using Kibana and Grafana.
- Take end-to-end ownership and accountability for assigned operational issues.
- Ensure timely and clear communication regarding actions, progress, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate effectively with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Qualification
Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
What We’re Looking For
Candidates with 5+ years of relevant experience in MES Operations/Production Support who have strong hands-on experience with ELK, Grafana, Kubernetes, Microservices, Rancher, MSSQL, GitHub, incident management, and troubleshooting.
