Start Date: ASAP

Location: Hybrid / Europe

Travel: Occasional onsite travel to you local site

Duration: 12 months + extensions Contract

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Cloud HR Domain Lead to lead the OTL and Absence functional areas within a large-scale Oracle ERP Cloud implementation. The role will act as the key interface between the business and implementation integrator, supporting the programme through design, build, testing, data migration, training, cutover, go-live and hypercare.

Responsibilities


Project Coordination & Stakeholder Management

  • Support the functional domain Project Manager with coordination of workshops, meetings and activities across business, IT and implementation teams.
  • Act as the communication hub between business and IT to ensure alignment and clear decision-making.
  • Monitor activities against project priorities, milestones and deadlines.
  • Identify risks or issues, take initiative and escalate where required.
  • Drive stakeholders towards decisions without direct managerial authority.


Process Design & Requirements

  • Present and explain the Oracle Cloud solution and target processes to business stakeholders.
  • Lead workshops to gather local requirements across OTL and Absence Management.
  • Capture and document business requirements for validation.
  • Review and validate solution design documentation produced by the integrator.
  • Support data gathering and provide guidance to the business on adopting the Oracle Cloud solution.
  • Consider integration requirements with external systems.


Integrator & Delivery Oversight

  • Support oversight of integrator deliverables across build, configuration, reporting, SIT/UAT, defect management, production setup, cutover and documentation.
  • Ensure deliverables align with agreed scope and business requirements.
  • Work closely with the integrator to resolve functional issues and gaps.


Testing & Validation

  • Contribute to test scenario and script creation, validation and execution.
  • Support business stakeholders with UAT preparation.
  • Drive UAT execution with the business and support defect analysis and resolution.
  • Validate that the solution meets agreed business requirements.


Data Migration & Reconciliation

  • Support the definition of the data migration approach alongside the data migration lead and business.
  • Support data migration activities including mapping validation and transcodification.
  • Perform data reconciliation during SIT, UAT and production.
  • Investigate and resolve data migration issues with the relevant teams.


Training, Cutover & Hypercare

  • Support Business Champions and integrators with end-user training.
  • Deliver training where required, providing guidance on Oracle functionality and processes.
  • Support business users during cutover, go-live and hypercare.
  • Provide functional clarification and support issue resolution during transition.
  • Monitor issues and incidents through go-live and stabilisation.


Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience across ERP implementations, with strong Oracle EBS and/or Oracle Cloud experience.
  • Strong functional experience across Oracle HCM/HR, Absence Management and OTL.
  • Good understanding of HR and Payroll business processes.
  • Experience working as the interface between business stakeholders and an Oracle implementation/integration partner.
  • Experience across the full implementation lifecycle, including design, build, SIT/UAT, data migration, training, cutover, go-live and hypercare.
  • Strong requirements gathering, process design and documentation skills.
  • Experience reviewing and challenging functional solution designs and implementation deliverables.
  • Strong UAT, defect management and data reconciliation experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong ability to influence stakeholders and drive decisions without formal authority.
  • Good teaching/training skills and a pragmatic, organised and rigorous approach.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Willingness to travel.
