Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain

secure, scalable, and high-performance web applications

using PHP. Build and integrate

RESTful APIs

and third-party APIs. Develop backend modules using

CodeIgniter

and follow proper MVC architecture. Design, write, and optimize

MySQL queries, stored procedures, indexes, and database structures . Implement authentication, authorization, sessions, cookies, and role-based access control. Identify and fix

security vulnerabilities , performance issues, and application bugs. Integrate external services such as payment gateways, email/SMS services, and other third-party APIs. Work closely with frontend developers to integrate APIs and develop complete application features. Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code. Perform debugging, unit testing, and troubleshooting of production issues. Use

Git

for source-code management and follow proper branching and code-review practices. Participate in requirement analysis, technical discussions, code reviews, testing, and deployment activities. Monitor and optimize application performance, database performance, and API response times.
