Principal Consultant, Business Consulting – Tech Transformation

Infosys Consulting is seeking candidates for their Technology Transformation practice. Candidate must be an experienced IT professional/consultant with the requisite domain acumen and delivery proficiency to help clients achieve business success. An ideal candidate would have a balance of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills to navigate complex M&A scenarios effectively with 12+ YOE. Candidates must be comfortable to take up working at all levels to help the organization define and deliver IT solutions and processes as part of an integrated strategy.

As a Principal Consultant, you will work on, among other things:

1. Providing strategic & technical advice to CIO and IT SMEs on-
\n

\n
• Due Diligence:
\n
• Assess target companies‘ IT systems, infrastructure, and capabilities.
\n
• Identify risks and opportunities related to IT during the M&A process.
\n
• Evaluate compatibility of IT platforms and technologies.
\n
• Integration/Separation Planning:
\n
• Develop IT integration/separation strategies and roadmaps post-merger.
\n
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and objectives for IT integration/separation.
\n
• Estimate costs and timelines for IT integration/carve-out projects.
\n
• Implementation Support:
\n
• Provide oversight during the integration of IT systems and applications.
\n
• Ensure data migration and application consolidation are executed smoothly.
\n
• Support the implementation of unified IT policies, governance, and security protocols.
\n
• Communication and Collaboration:
\n
• Liaise with IT teams from both organizations to facilitate knowledge sharing and alignment.
\n
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
\n
• Documentation and Reporting:
\n
• Create and maintain documentation related to IT assessments, integration plans, and progress.
\n
• Monitor key performance indicators to assess integration success.
\n

1. Project Execution
\n

\n
• Collaborate with client counterparts to define long-term vision, goals, and strategies
\n
• Contribute to the design and development of client future processes and organizations with corresponding transformation roadmaps
\n
• Conduct requirements workshops with a team of global IT professional & subject matter experts, translating those requirements into actionable project initiatives with associated metrics
\n
• Solution targeted processes, leveraging best practices
\n
• Perform knowledge transfer to the client and support organizations throughout all phases of the project
\n
• Providing and receiving regular feedback and ensuring effective communication and high levels of satisfaction between the team and consultants under stressful circumstances
\n
• Leading & driving business pitches and present, creative concepts and new and innovative ideas to internal and external clients
\n

1. Sales / Business Development
\n

\n
• Support Infosys Consulting leadership team members in driving proposal development and leading proposal discussions
\n
• Develop client relationships to identify and qualify sales opportunities with the assistance of senior leadership
\n
• Lead solution definition for client-specific needs during the opportunity to closure cycle
\n
• Articulate our unique point of view in various thought leadership media, including papers, webinars, and seminars
\n

\n
1. People Development
\n

\n
• Mentor and coach team members through formal, performance evaluation methods and informal, individual feedback opportunities
\n
• Collaborate and share knowledge
\n
• Lead the day-to-day execution of projects while guiding and developing individual team members
\n

\n
1. Practice Development
\n

\n
• Create/contribute practice artifacts
\n
• Contribute to practice growth through recruitment, training, and retention
\n
• Provide insight and thought leadership in developing innovative assets, including differentiated points of view and methodologies
\n

\n
1. Basic Qualifications
\n

\n
• Bachelor’s degree in any technology related field.
\n
• Strong understanding of IT systems, project management, and integration methodologies.
\n
• Excellent articulation, communication, and strong interpersonal skills
\n
• Exhibit a passion for technology and continually learn and keep pace with the accelerating change across multiple technologies and solutions
\n
• 9+ Years of consulting/advisory experience in at least 2 of the following areas:
\n
• M&A IT Integrations - provide overall integration leadership to clients across the M&A lifecycle including Due Diligence, Integration Planning and Execution, Value and Stranded Cost analysis, setting up and running Integration Management Office
\n
• Cloud Strategy & Migration – Cloud Service Provider Selection, Cloud Migration Assessment & Business Case, Cloud COE assessment & design, Cloud Finance Management Design
\n
• IT Cost Optimization – technology business management (TBM) data strategy, TBM office governance, TBM managed services, Apptio implementation
\n
• Enterprise Agile Transformation – vision, strategy and roadmap, operating model, workforce model, COE setup
\n
• IT Strategy & Architecture – driving next gen IT & business architecture, IT capability assessment, new operating model design, value realization and Application Portfolio Optimization
\n
• Data engineering and strategy
\n
• Cybersecurity- experience in any of the following-
\n
• Cyber GRC- ISMS (ISO 27001) - BCMS (ISO 22301)- NIST CSF, NIST 800-171 (CUI) - SABSA (Security Architecture)
\n
• Risk Management- NIST 800-37, 800-30, NIST 800-53
\n
• Privacy - GDPR - CCPA
\n

Regulatory Compliance - NERC CIP- PCIDSS - DoD CMMC

\n
• Project Management
\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n
• M.B.A. or equivalent advanced degree from Tier 1/Tier 2 colleges
\n
• Big 4 consulting or equivalent experience
\n
• Experience with data management, IT strategy, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity is advantageous.
\n
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
\n
• Certifications: TOGAF, ITIL Foundation, COBIT, Apptio TBMA, SAFe, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
\n
• Strong problem-solving skills: ability to determine proper course or methodology with minimal direction or supervision.
\n
• Ability to produce clear, concise, relevant, and accurate recommendations based on information gathered from stakeholders and subject matter experts
\n
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
\n
