Role Description The Project Management Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara, responsible for overseeing and optimizing construction projects from initiation through completion. The role involves developing project plans, defining scope, timelines, and resource requirements, and coordinating with site teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure milestones are met. The consultant will review project performance, identify risks, propose corrective actions, and advise on best practices in project governance and cost control. Day-to-day tasks include stakeholder communication, preparing status reports, facilitating project meetings, and supporting decision-making for senior leadership. The role also includes recommending process improvements, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and contributing to long-term project strategy.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to assess project performance, manage risks, and support data-driven decisions.
• Program management experience, including EPC, planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource coordination across multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, clients, and vendors, and for preparing clear reports and/or presentations if needed.
• Handled at least one full cycle of power project planning, monitoring and control.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field; Diploma in Civil Engineering+ substantial experience.
• Proven experience in managing on-site construction projects, preferably in industrial construction environments.
• Knowledge of construction contracts, local regulations, safety standards, and quality control practices.
• Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office.
