Salary: INR 7.5 LPA – INR 10 LPA

About the Role

We are looking for a technically strong and execution-focused Project & Implementation Manager who can manage third-party API integrations, coordinate with internal and external development teams, and ensure smooth implementation of technology projects into our existing systems.

The candidate must have strong knowledge of APIs, C#, Python, Azure Cloud, Azure Functions, MS SQL Server, Java for Mobile App Development and experience in integrating third-party APIs with legacy software systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate third-party API providers by attending demos, understanding their product capabilities, and assessing whether their solution adds value to Urban Money’s business and technology ecosystem.
\n
• Manage the complete onboarding lifecycle of third-party technology partners, including documentation, agreements, API credentials, initial testing, UAT, production movement, and go-live coordination.
\n
• Perform API testing using Postman, understand API documentation, review request/response structures, identify errors, and coordinate with vendors for resolution.
\n
• Coordinate with internal backend, frontend, and mobile app development teams for bug fixes, new implementations, feature changes, and production issues.
\n
• Follow up regularly with developers, vendors, operations, and management to ensure timely closure of tasks, bugs, new features and implementation milestones.
\n
• Manage integrations related to payment gateways, KYC, banking APIs, credit bureaus, verification tools, communication platforms, dashboards, and other fintech/NBFC systems.
\n
• Do code reviews.
\n
• Work with legacy software systems and ensure new APIs and features are implemented without disrupting existing business operations.
\n
• Travel between our distributed development team offices located in Salt Lake Sector V and New Town, Kolkata, for coordination, follow-ups, demos, testing, and implementation meetings.

Mandatory Requirements

\n
• Strong knowledge of different kinds of APIs, including REST APIs, webhooks, authentication, request/response formats, API errors, logs, and API documentation.
\n
• Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing is compulsory.
\n
• Good working knowledge of C# and Python code is required.
\n
• Extensive experience in integrating third-party APIs into legacy software systems is required.
\n
• Strong understanding of Azure Cloud is compulsory, especially Azure Functions.
\n
• Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server database is compulsory.
\n
• Working knowledge of mobile app development flow is required, especially Android mobile apps built in Core Java.
\n
• Ability to coordinate with backend, frontend, and mobile app developers for bug fixes, testing, new implementation, and production deployment.
\n
• Prior experience in fintech, NBFC, lending, banking, payment gateway, KYC, or API-based product implementation will be strongly preferred.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be technically sound, highly organized, process-driven, and comfortable managing multiple technology projects at the same time.

We are looking for someone who can understand technical requirements, test APIs independently, review code at a functional and implementation level, question vendors properly, follow up with development teams, and ensure smooth implementation from demo stage to production go-live.

The candidate must be comfortable travelling locally within Kolkata between Salt Lake Sector V and New Town, as our development teams work from different offices.
