Project Manager – Data Center Cooling Systems

Level: Project Manager / Sr. Project Manager / AGM Projects

Location: Hyderabad / Mumbai

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Experience: 8–15 Years

Travel: Willingness to travel extensively

Ideal role for professionals with 8–15 years of experience managing mission-critical cooling infrastructure and data center projects.

Role Summary

Lead end-to-end delivery of Data Center Cooling Infrastructure Projects, including CDU, CRAC/CRAH, RDHx, Chilled Water & DX Cooling Systems, Precision Cooling Units, and Secondary Fluid Piping Networks. Responsible for project planning, execution, stakeholder management, budget control, risk mitigation, commissioning, and customer handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete project lifecycle from award to commissioning and handover.
\n
• Lead installation, testing, and commissioning of cooling systems and associated MEP infrastructure.
\n
• Coordinate with customers, consultants, OEMs, contractors, and internal teams for seamless execution.
\n
• Drive project schedules, procurement, resource planning, risk management, and change control.
\n
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, quality standards, and EHS requirements.
\n
• Manage project documentation, billing milestones, vendor performance, and customer escalations.
\n
• Support service, retrofit, warranty, and after-sales activities through effective project handovers.
\n

Required Skills

\n
• Strong experience in Data Center, HVAC, Cooling, and MEP Project Management.
\n
• Expertise in CRAC/CRAH, Chillers, CDU, RDHx, Pumps, Precision Cooling, BMS, and Secondary Piping Systems.
\n
• Knowledge of project planning tools such as MS Project / Primavera.
\n
• Strong commercial, stakeholder management, and team leadership capabilities.
\n

Preferred Certifications

PMP, PRINCE2, CDCP, or other Data Center-related certifications.
