Key Responsibilities Cover and develop expertise in assigned sectors and companies. Identify and track investment opportunities across large-cap, mid-cap, and small-cap stocks. Conduct detailed fundamental research, financial analysis, and company valuations. Monitor macroeconomic, industry, and company-specific developments impacting investments. Present sector and stock views in investment and research meetings. Provide actionable stock recommendations and support fund managers in investment decisions. Generate new investment ideas, themes, and research-driven opportunities. Engage with company managements, regulators, industry participants, and analyst forums. Build and maintain relationships with sell-side analysts and assess the viability of their investment ideas. Maintain an objective recommendation tracking framework and contribute to portfolio performance. Qualifications MBA (Finance), CA or equivalent professional qualification. Strong academic background in finance, economics, or related fields. Experience 8-10 years of overall relevant work experience (Large part & current experience in the IT sector is mandatory) Exposure to equity mutual funds or macro research. Experience preparing market commentary, client presentations, or fund analytics is preferred. Required Skills Strong understanding of equity markets and macro-economic trends. Proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and analytical tools. Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts. Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized with strong problem-solving capability. Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions.
