About the Role

PRAD 4x4 is expanding our engineering team in Bangalore! We are looking for an experienced Senior Design Engineer to lead the engineering of off-road specific accessories, OEM projects, special vehicle builds, and sheet metal assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Lead 3D modeling and complex assembly design using SolidWorks.
• Prepare accurate 2D production drawings, sheet metal flat patterns, and fabrication specs using AutoCAD.
• Collaborate directly with manufacturing teams, OEM clients, and special vehicle project stakeholders from concept to finished product.
• Oversee vehicle fitment trials, physical prototyping, and technical design iterations on specialized vehicle platforms.
• Provide guidance and technical leadership within the engineering team.

Key Qualifications

• Proficiency: Advanced skills in SolidWorks (3D Part/Assembly Modeling, Sheet Metal) and AutoCAD (2D Drafting).
• Experience Level: Practical experience with end-to-end product design, off-road equipment, OEM project execution, and technical leadership (3+ years experience).
• Domain Focus: Proven background in automotive engineering, off-road hardware, special vehicle projects, or sheet metal component design.
• Location: On-site in Bangalore.
