Job Description: Dynamics 365 F&O Senior Technical Consultant
Experience: 7–10 Years
Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior D365 F&O Technical Consultant with strong hands-on
technical expertise and team leadership capabilities. The candidate will be responsible for solution
design, development, code quality, technical documentation, deployment, troubleshooting, and
mentoring the technical team.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business needs and customize solutions
with optimized coding.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Design and develop solutions using X++, extensions, CoC, event handlers, data entities, forms,
tables, classes, workflows, and batch jobs.
• Develop and support SSRS reports, integrations, APIs, OData, DMF, and Business Events.
Should have experience in PPAC
• Prepare technical designs, effort estimates, impact analysis, and deployment documents.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards, secure coding practices, performance, and
development best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex technical, integration, performance, and production issues.
• Manage Azure DevOps, source control, builds, deployment packages, and release activities.
• Coordinate closely with functional consultants, project managers, customers, and other
stakeholders.
• Provide technical support during UAT, go-live, and post-go-live activities.
Required Skills
• 7–10 years of Dynamics AX/D365 F&O technical experience.
• Strong expertise in X++ and D365 F&O development architecture.
• Strong knowledge of tables, forms, classes, extensions, data entities, SSRS, workflows, and
security.
• Experience with integrations, REST APIs, OData, DMF, Business Events, PPAC, and Azure
services.
• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, version control, build, and deployment processes.
• Experience in technical solution design, estimation, code review, and performance optimisation.
• Experience in end-to-end D365 F&O implementations and production support.
