Job Description: Manager – Social Media and IC Lead
Position & Location- Manager – Social Media and Internal Communications Lead – B2B
Reports to DGM – Brand & Comms (B2B)
Why this position exists?
The position holder is responsible for assisting the B2B Head of Marketing and DGM – Brand & Comms in the delivery of Social Media and Employee Communications for Airtel Business.
Responsibilities- Integrated Communications
Key Result Areas
▪ Internal Communications
- Execution of employee communication plan to enhance employee engagement & bolster employer branding
- Innovative approaches to engage employees located in circle offices besides corporate office
- Executing senior leadership communications and townhalls
- Knowledge of new technologies and trends for employee communications (preferred)
▪ Social Media for Airtel Business
- Liaising with the digital agency to execute the Social Media content calendar
- Liaising with product marketing managers to amplify AB’s products and thought leadership
- Proactively identify diverse Social Media opportunities to highlight employee stories while ensuring brand compliance and correctness
▪ Event Management
- Capable of planning and executing employee/industry events of small and large scale involving key stakeholders
- Is cost efficient
- Understands unique business requirements and supports initiatives within the overall organizational policies and processes Capabilities and competencies Excellent communication skills – written and verbal Creative, Designing on Canva or using AI People Focus Hands on experience with web technologies, and Presentation tools Interpersonal Skills, Team player Self-Starter, Drive for results Well versed with usage of social media channels, especially LinkedIn Experience
Minimum 3-5 years in Content Writing, Social Media, Internal Communications
