One of our very early-stage AI portfolio companies building in the fintech infrastructure space in the US is looking to hire a Tax Expert to help drive product development as part of their team in India. Responsibilities Translate real-world tax workflows into product improvements Prepare and review individual income tax returns Identify tax edge cases, complex scenarios, and ways to break the product Bring your tax preparation experience to help shape the product roadmap Work directly with engineers to explain tax rules and expected outcomes Qualifications A keen desire to be part of the earliest part of startup journey CPA Strong understanding of U.S. federal individual income tax Experienced preparing individual tax returns using professional tax software such as Drake, UltraTax, CCH, Lacerte, ProSeries, or similar platforms Experienced reviewing tax returns, not just preparing them Excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, and organization skills Please apply to this role directly on LinkedIn.
