Responsibilities

• Detect, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues (latency, packet loss, downtime).
\n
• Configure alerts and notifications for system anomalies.
\n
• Analyze logs and performance metrics to identify trends and potential issues.
\n
• Ensure network uptime and service availability (24/7 monitoring in NOC environments).
\n
• Work with IT teams to resolve incidents and perform root cause analysis.
\n
• Generate reports on network performance and incidents.
\n
• Maintain documentation of network configurations and monitoring processes.
\n
• Implement and maintain monitoring dashboards.
\n
• Expertise in Network Monitoring tools.
\n
• Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs).
\n
• Familiarity with monitoring protocols (SNMP, NetFlow, ICMP).
\n
• Experience with monitoring tools (mentioned above).
\n
• Basic understanding of: Wireshark (packet analysis).
\n
• Splunk or similar log tools.
\n
• Understanding of Linux/Windows systems.
\n
• Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash) is a plus.
\n
