Job title: FrontOffice UI Automation Engineer

We are looking for an experienced UI Automation Engineer to join our QA team and work on front-office applications within the Financial Services / Capital Markets domain.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Playwright, Node.js, automation framework development, and a solid understanding of Fixed Income trading workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust UI automation scripts using Playwright and Node.js
- Automate test cases transitioned from manual QA
- Build and enhance scalable automation frameworks
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Test Fixed Income trading workflows and products
- Integrate automation with Jenkins/CI-CD pipelines
- Work with JIRA/XRay for test management, execution tracking, and defect lifecycle
- Contribute to regression planning, test orchestration, and suite optimization
- Perform API testing and database validation where required
- Troubleshoot complex issues across multiple environments
- Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Project Managers, QA teams, and global stakeholders
- Provide clear reporting on QA progress, defects, metrics, and risks
- Ensure adherence to agreed SLA/TAT and quality standards
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and Python
- Proficiency in Node.js
- Experience with Cucumber / BDD / Behave
- Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD
- Hands-on experience with JIRA and XRay
- Strong understanding of UI automation framework design
- Experience in test data management, reporting, and reusable automation components
- Knowledge of API testing
- Understanding of Fixed Income / Bond Trading / Capital Markets
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
