Workday Integration Consultant

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Workday Integration Consultant to join our growing Workday practice. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Workday integrations, with expertise in designing, developing, testing, and supporting integrations across the Workday ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and support Workday integrations based on business requirements.
• Work on EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and Workday APIs.
• Develop and maintain inbound and outbound integrations with third-party applications.
• Analyze integration requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Perform integration testing, troubleshooting, error handling, and performance optimization.
• Support end-to-end integration development, from requirements gathering through deployment and production support.
• Work closely with functional consultants, clients, and technical teams to resolve integration-related issues.
• Prepare technical documentation, integration specifications, and deployment/support documentation.
• Monitor integrations and proactively identify and resolve failures or data issues.
• Participate in implementation, enhancement, and support projects.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience in Workday Integrations.
• Experience with EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and Workday APIs.
• Good understanding of integration patterns, data flows, web services, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with XML, XSLT, SOAP, REST, JSON, and related integration technologies.
• Experience across the end-to-end Workday implementation lifecycle.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with global teams.
• Workday Integration certification is preferred.
• Prior experience in client-facing engagements is an advantage.

Experience

3+ years of relevant Workday Integration experience, with strong hands-on development and implementation experience.

Nice to Have

• Experience with complex Workday Studio integrations.
• Exposure to Workday Extend and/or Workday Orchestrate.
• Experience integrating Workday with third-party HR, payroll, finance, or benefits systems.
• Knowledge of security concepts and authentication mechanisms used in Workday integrations.
